David van den Broek

David van den Broek is a UK registered farrier who left his practice in Oxfordshire back in 2024 in order to go into full-time training for pastoral ministry at Union School of Theology. David is married to Fiona with whom he loves to explore the beautiful Welsh countryside with their dogs Daisy and Elsa. He is energised by a good book or by an empty notebook and is deeply convinced that God is closest when life is hardest.
What were the Father, Son and Spirit doing “before” they created anything? They were single-mindedly absorbed in mutual affection.
The mutual knowing of Father, Son and Spirit is, to put it simply, the deepest truth of all. It is the foundational and all-encompassing intimacy. It is the affection of which all life is simply a joyful overflow.
I receive the abundant-life-giving coming of Jesus as I know and am known in my local church. Local church matters because knowing and being known matter.
