Scripture is what it is because God is who he is. In Scripture, God himself speaks and offers us his Son and all that he has won for us. By hearing Scripture with faith, we do more than learn about Jesus: we enter into a relationship with him.

Steffen G. Jenkins is Senior Lecturer in Greek and Biblical Studies at Union School of Theology in the United Kingdom. He has served as Lecturer in Old Testament at various seminaries in Cuba and was previously a tutor in Biblical Languages at Tyndale House, in Cambridge, England.
