We are delighted to welcome Eleanor Trotter to Union Publishing as Senior Commissioning Editor.

Eleanor comes to Union having spent 17 years as Senior Commissioning Editor at IVP UK, working with a range of authors from John Stott and Alec Motyer to Sam Allberry and Emma Scrivener.

Eleanor brings a wealth of experience to Union. Her publishing list has covered several categories, including apologetics, Bible overview, biography, devotional, discipleship, lifestyle and study guide. She nurtured a number of new authors, including Paul Mallard and Emma Scrivener, and several of the books which she commissioned won awards in the UK and the US, including John Stott’s The Radical Disciple. She holds an Honours Degree in Modern Languages from The Queen’s University of Belfast, N. Ireland. For six years, she was a trustee for Media Associates International, an organization which encourages and trains indigenous Christian publishers.

Eleanor remarks, ‘As I make the transition from IVP UK to Union Publishing, there is a strange sense of coming home: this is not all that far removed from where I’ve been all along.’

Michael Reeves, President of Union, said, ‘Eleanor has a wise head, deeply evangelical convictions, and a servant’s heart. I am thrilled that she will bring her expertise and experience to our publishing team.’
